Operation Olasiti
Several members of Achieve in Africa traveled to Tanzania in June to plan for construction at Olasiti Primary School. Construction is currently underway to provide two new classrooms for just under $11,000 USD. Over 50 pounds of school supplies and books were also delivered to the school.

Desk Campaign
The two new classrooms will need desks. Each desk seats between 3-4 children. For only $42 USD, you can provide a desk for one of our classrooms. The two classrooms require a total of 50 desks.

Pen Pal Friends
Pen Pal Friends enables 50 students from a California middle school and Olasiti Primary School to exchange letters. On our last trip to Olasiti, we hand-delivered the letters from students in California to the students in Olasiti and returned to the children in California with new letters. This program gives the children in Tanzania an opportunity to practice English, learn about our culture, share their culture, and make a rafiki "friend" half way across the world. Each student involved in Pen Pal Friends has a picture of their pen pal friend.
